  • Department of Chemistry, Karnatak University, Dharwad-590 003 Manuscript received 22 March 1982, accepted 28 December 1982 Stability constants of Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Mg(II) complexes of several nuclear-substituted derivatives of diphenylcarbazone have been determined by the Calvin-Bjerrum technique in 50% (v/v) aqueous dioxane. The acid dissociation constants of the ligands used are reported and the influence of substitution in the phenyl rings of diphenylcarbazone is discussed.
