- The main research objective is to accomplish a CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) Plantperformance assessment for a representative set of climates of Kuwait providing an outlook of CSP potential alongside the country. Modeling of a CSP Plant is developed to assess the performance of different cooling systems. In spite of atmospheric attenuation (aerosols), a Kuwait coastal site should not necessarily be rejected as a candidate for a CSP Plant location against and inland site. Renewable Desalination and CSP integration is a feasible solution for a Coastal site taking advantages of several synergies (seawater cooling, common pumping water)
