- Regency Education Office is one of the government agencies that play a role in education. Under the coordination of the Regional Government, there is a policy regarding a grant in aid to local underprivileged undergraduate students through scholarships. The determination of its amount has been done manually by considering the location of the university and the tuition fee for each applicant's study program. The process carried out does not include clear rules and boundaries. Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) functions to control any process by using inference rules based on fuzzy logic. This paper aims to describe the steps and determine the results of the determination of the scholarship amount using the Fuzzy Mamdani defuzzification Centroid method. The system is built based on distance data, regency minimum wage, and tuition fees from the prospective scholarship recipients' college location.
