Length 3 lines.-Rufo-fuscous: the head, thorax, and nodes of the peduncle coarsely, deeply and longitudinally striated; the mandibles and scape pale ferruginous, the flagellum pale testaceous; the mandibles very slender at their base, their inner edge finely serrated, their apex armed with two blunt teeth, which are abruptly curved at right angles with the jaws; the head rather longer than broad, deeply emarginate behind, the sides smooth and shining; the legs ferruginous.
