Chondrostega fasciana feisali (Wiltshire, 1941). Bionomics. The species is native to arid biotopes and is univoltine with flight period in October. Inhabits deserts and steppe of various types, except alluvial (mud) deserts, from 140 to 250 m. Females wingless. Caterpillars on various lower plants (‘low desert annuals’). Eggs hibernate. Material Examined: paratypes, males, SW Iran, Hamidiya, near Ahwaz, Khuzistan, 14.X. 1938 (BMNH); 17 males, SW Iran, W von Kasri Shirin, 4.X 1965, Kosrovi, 250 m, leg. E. & A. Vartian (NHMW). (HMIM): Khuzestan: Ahvaz, 140 m, 20.X. 1977, leg. Mortazaviha & Hashemi.
