Type species: Paranaxipha ornatipes Chopard, 1925 Vertex flattened, eyes mostly horizontal lengthened, 5 th joint of maxillary palpi widened. Tympana present on inner side of anterior tibiae; tegmen with pubescence, with defined Cu 2 vein in male, wings developed. Hind tibia with three pairs of dorsal spurs and five apical spurs. Male genitalia without projecting lateral angles. Ovipositor rather short, apical valves slightly broader than the stem, margins finely denticulated.
