- Subgenus Sigara Fabricius, 1775 Sigara (Sigara) dorsalis (Leach, 1817) Corixa dorsalis Leach, 1817: 17 (as new sepecies); Corixa basalis A. Costa, 1843: 7; Corixa lacustris Macan, 1954: 61. Distribution in Iran. West Azarbaijan (Ahmadi et al. 2012). General distribution. This species is known only from Belgium, France, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, and Sweden (Jansson 1986, 1995). Comments. The presence of S. (Sigara) dorsalis in Iran is probably a misidentification.
