This subspecies is known only from two isolated populations, one at Ziarat, near Quetta, in Baluchistan (Danner et al., 1998), the other from central Afghanistan (Bamiyan, Yakawlang district, 34 ° 48 ' 2.80 ''N 67 ° 11 ' 3.37 ''E) (Pittaway & Kitching, 2013), but its validity as a separate subspecies remains open to doubt (Kitching & Cadiou, 2000).
