- Neodiogmites melaleucus (Schiner, 1868) Dasypogon melaleucus Schiner, 1868, 165. Lastauroides melaleucus; Martins & Papavero 1970: 29 (catalog). We were not able to study this species because only the type is known and cannot be borrowed for a more detailed study. However, the examination of the photographs of the type, generously provided by Dr. Marion Kotrba, Museum Zoologische Staatssammlung München, suggests that the current generic position of this species is questionable. Nevertheless, we retain it in Neodiogmites until the type is studied.
