We were not able to examine the holotype of this species but the above materials agree well with the original description and figures of the species. The following additional characters and some minor differences may be noted. Description. Female. Length 1.6–2.4 mm. Body robust. A small spot outside of beneath each antennal torulus yellowish. Antenna as in fig. 30; F 1 with about basal three fifth whitish (about one fifth whitish in original figure). Pronotum with posterior margin laterally and a small spot on each sides pale yellow; tegula whitish with brown suffusion basally and apically. Fore wing hyaline with a pattern of dark and pale setae forming a broad longitudinal hyaline band. Head in frontal view (Fig. 32) slightly (1.04 ×) wider than high; frontovertex with deep longitudinally elongate coriaceous to strigose sculpture; setae on frontovertex as long as diameter of anterior ocellus; ocelli forming an angle of about 80 °; inner eye margins slightly diverging ventrally; dorsal margin of antennal torulus slightly above ventral eye margin; torulus separated from mouth margin by 0.51 × its height; antennal scrobes moderately deep, not meeting apically; malar sulcus distinct. Clava 3.21 × as long as broad, longer than preceding two funicle segments combined; linear sensilla on all funicle segments. Mandible with 2 acute teeth; palp formula 4: 3. Mesosoma (Fig. 33) dorsally with coriaceous to strigose sculpture; posterior margin of pronotum concave; scutellum 0.81 × as long as wide. Fore wing (Fig. 31) 2.86 × as long as broad; linea calva interrupted broadly and closed by 3 rows of setae posteriorly; postmarginal vein slightly longer than marginal vein and 1.34 × as long as stigmal vein; hind wing 4.7 × as long as broad. Length of mid tibial spur 0.38 × of mid tibia. Ovipositor (Fig. 34) slightly exserted. Male. Unknown. Host. Unknown. Distribution. China (Shandong); Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Transcaucasus, Turkey, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Former Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Yugoslavia (pre 1991), Austria, Germany, Spain, Tunisia, Canary Islands. Comments. Our specimens agree very well with the description of A. matritensis, but a minor difference should be noted. In our specimens F 1 with the basal three-fifths whitish, whilst in the original description of A. matritensis ‘base of the first funicle segment white’. This is the first record from China.
