  • Smart polymers are high-performance polymers that vary with conditions. Such materials can be sensitive to a number of factors, such as temperature, humidity and pH, and the wavelength or intensity of the light or magnetic and electric field in which they are located. These polymers can also react in a variety of ways: such as changes in color or clarity, become conductive, or deform (such as memory polymers). Often small changes in the environment are sufficient to cause large changes in the properties of polymers. Intelligent polymers are seen in the same way, both in specific applications and in conventional products. They are used for the production of hydrogels as well as on a large scale in the production of environmental engineering equipment. For example, there is a polymer that changes its formulation when the pH of the environment changes, and this type of polymer is used in the manufacture of medicine. Another case in point is polymers that are sensitive to moisture and can be used in self-adhesive wound dressings. This type of dressing automatically balances the moisture in the wound. So these smart materials will have a good market in the not too distant future and will have many applications in the future due to the good properties they show. Intelligence in materials is a property that is not specific to a particular group and is found in most groups of materials. Let me introduce you to a new chapter of the future; Ladies; Gentlemen! Welcome to the last station of the Fourth Industrial Revolution!
