- Henosepilachna boisduvali (Mulsant) Epilachna boisduvali Mulsant, 1850: 765. Epilachna montrouzieri Fauvel, 1862: 174 —synonymized by Korschefsky 1931: 32. Henosepilachna boisduvali: Li & Cook 1961: 47. This ladybug is a widely distributed species in South East Asia (from Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines, Ryukyu Islands, Indonesia, West Timor), but also in Australia, Vanuatu, Fiji Islands and Samoa. In New Caledonia, it is recorded from both coasts of Grande Terre, but also on Loyalty Islands and Isle of Pines (Chazeau, pers. obs.). It may be an accidental introduction. This species is considered as a pest on several plants, especially on Cucurbitaceae (Abe & Matsuda 2000).
