  • Campylomma koraticola n. sp. (Figs. 5 B, 7, 10− 11) Diagnosis. Recognized readily by its larger size; castaneous to fuscous basic coloration; wooly, semierect setae on dorsum (Fig. 5 B); dense, sericeous vestiture on head; creamy brown, not spotted femur (Fig. 7); and form of male genitalia (Figs. 10−11). These distinctive characters enable this new species to be distinguished from any other Asian congeners. Description. Male: Body generally castaneous to fuscous, oval, comparatively large for the genus; dorsal surface shining, with uniformly distributed, wooly, semierect setae. Head shiny brown, with densely distributed, sericeous, upright setae. Antenna entirely pale or whitish brown. Labium shiny pale brown, long, barely exceeding apex of metacoxa; apical half of segment IV reddish brown. Pronotum and mesoscutum shiny brown; scutellum coffee brown; pleura pale chestnut brown. Hemelytron unicolorously shiny fuscous, with uniformly distributed, silvery, semierect setae; membrane smoky brown, with paler veins. All coxae and legs almost entirely pale brown; femora not spotted or pigmented. Abdomen wholly shiny chestnut brown. Genitalia as in Figs. 10−11; basal part of phallotheca broad; endosoma thick, without apical appendage or spine; secondary gonopore developed. Female: Unknown. Measurements. Total body length 2.55; length from apex of clypeus to cuneal fracture 1.78; width of head across eyes 0.74; vertex width 0.25; lengths of antennal segments I −IV 0.16, 0.98, 0.38, 0.31; labial length 1.35; mesal length of pronotum 0.49; basal width of pronotum 1.01; maximum width across hemelytron 1.18; and lengths of metafemur, tibia and tarsus 0.80, 1.40, 0.31. Remarks. This new species is easily distinguished from any other Asian congeners by the above diagnosed characters; however, its closest sister species is yet to be confirmed. Judging from the similarity of the endosomal shape, C. koraticola is assumed to be allied to C. marmarosa Schuh, 1984, currently only known from Papua New Guinea; the latter species has a very unique, mottled color pattern (Schuh, 1984).
