Nugroho & IED-c; Thanh Hoa: 1 ♂, Xuan Lien NP, Hon Can, Thuong Xuan, Van Xuan, 19 ° 52 ' 27.5 "N 105 ° 14 ' 20.8 "E, 106 m, 24.VIII. 2012, L.T.P. Nguyen; Nghe An: 1 ♀, Pu Mat, 26.VII. 2004, L.T.P. Nguyen; Ha Tinh: 1 ♀, Son Tay, Huong Son, 19–24.V. 2004, L.T.P. Nguyen. Distribution. Vietnam (new record); India: Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal; Myanmar; Malaysia; Indonesia: Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sumba, Flores (Bingham 1897, van der Vecht 1963). Remarks. Van der Vecht (1963) described a new subspecies of the species, A. flavolineatum malaisei from Myanmar based on some differences in color pattern such as thorax almost entirely black, coxae black (thorax extensively marked with yellow, mid and hind coxae with yellow spot on outer side in A. f. flavolineatum (Smith)). The Vietnamese specimens listed above show variation in all the characters that van der Vecht (1963) used to separate the two subspecies. Thus we synonymize A. flavolineatum malaisei van der Vecht with the nominotypical subspecies.
