- Cotesia abjecta (Marshall, 1885) Distribution in Iran. Lorestan (Ghahari et al. 2012 b). Distribution outside Iran. Croatia, former Czechoslovakia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, UK, former Yugoslavia (Yu et al. 2012). Host records. Drymonia ruficornis, Pheosia tremula, Cerura vinula, Notodonta dromedaria, N. ziczac, Bathythrix aerea, Drepana falcataria, Ennomos autumnaria, Gelis agilis, Lysibia nana, Medophron crassicornis, Mesochorus brevipetiolatus, Notodonta dictaeoides, Pheosia gnoma, Pseudoterpna pruinata (Yu et al. 2012). In France it has been reported from Smerinthus ocellatus (Nixon 1974; Yu et al. 2012).
