The formed complexes are Cu(Ox)(Pyr), Cu(Ox)(Pyr),, Cu(Ox)2(Pyr), Fe(Ox)(Pyr), and Fe(Ox),(Pyr). For the citrate— pyruvate system the complexes detected in the solution are Cu(Cit)(Pyr)2, Cu(Cit)2(Pyr) and Fe(Cit)(Pyr)2. The formation constants of these complexes have been determined,
