On intertidal rocky bottom (Okutani 2000). In studied sites it was found on rocks and seedling stems in lowest part of intertidal zone. Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic. Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast, southern delta (Thach 2005). General distribution. Throughout the IWP (Beu 1998).
