  • 212. Spialia dromus Pl ӧtz, 1884 WL: 13mm. This is a common savanna skipper frequently found in degraded areas, particularly agricultural lands, across Africa. It is easily mistaken for S. spio, from which it is distinguished by the presence of a solid rather than broken white band on the hindwing verso. Caterpillars feed on several species of Sterculiaceae and Tiliaceae. Studied material. Cacheu: Caió, rare (JB). Previous references. Regions: Quinara, Tombali. Authors: Mendes et al. (2007).
