Material examined. 1 male, Bawangling, Changjiang, Hainan, 26 May, 2014, collected by Jiao Jiao; 1 female, Diaoluoshan, Lingshui, Hainan, 7 May, 2014, collected by Lin Xie. Discussion. Based on one male sex, Li et al. (2016) reported the species as Larnaca (Larnaca) hainanica, we thought that the specimens identified as Zalarnaca (Glolarnaca) pulcherrima Gorochov, 2008 by Bian & Shi (2015) should be Zalarnaca (Larnaca) hainanica com. nov., which is similar to Zalarnaca (Glolarnaca) pulcherrima Gorochov, 2008, but it differs from the latter in: posterior margin of occiput without black spots on both sides, dorsal margins of lateral lobes of pronotum with 1 pair of longitudinal and narrow stripes. Distribution. China (Hainan).
