- Cryptocephalus (Cryptocephalus) cynarae Suffrian MALLORCA—The quotation of this species in Baleares (Duhaldeborde, 2014) is highly doubtful because Erica scoparia L. (Ericaceae), its host-plant, is very scarce in the island and this leaf beetle does not live in the Eastern mainland Spain (Petitpierre 2000, 2009).
