Diagnosis: A rather medium-sized Petrobrasia species with an extended or stretched out lateral outline and comparatively small carapace height, also of symmetrical biconvex dorsal outline with blunted-off carapace ends. Totally without sculpture. Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5383. Paratypes: Not deposited. Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.80mm, height 0.43mm, width 0.28mm.
