Chitembo (6 km SE) (13° 33 ́23 ́ ́ S, 16° 47 ́22 ́ ́ E, 1586 m alt., 302) (BIÉ), 9.XI.2015, 2♂, DO, A. Serrano & R. Capela leg., ASC. Remarks. A species known from Angola and Namibia (Basilewsky 1977, Insectoid.info 2017) with two subspecies (jambanus Basilewsky, 1977 and ornatissimus Basilewsky, 1977), both restricted to the southern territory of Angola (Basilewsky 1977, 1986a). Adults were found within an open secondary forest on sandy whitish soil together with some adults of tiger and ground beetles (see S. lucidus strigiceps remarks). The comments given to G. congoensis lundanus on mimicry associations between Cicindelini and Graphipterini can be reported also to this species (Figs 6a, 6c). It is a new record for the Bié Province.
