- Department of Chemistry, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur-302 004 Manuscript received 30 September 1993 A brief review is presented of the methods of preparation, properties and structural characteristics of bi-and trimetallic heterometal alkoxides of cobalt, nickel and copper. Most of these novel products are volatile and soluble in organic solvents and hence, their applications for synthesis of ceramic materials by MOCVD as well as by sol-gel process are highly attractive.
