  • At the final stage of oviposition of hens in broiler parent herds, the reproductive abilities of birds have been decreased. Irreversible pathological processes occur in tissues and organs, leading to a lower quality of incubated eggs and incubation indicators. Based on multiple studies, it was found that the use of montmorillonite as a complex adsorbent (dosage 1 kg/ton of food) for 4 weeks at the final stage of oviposition and 2 weeks of after effect led to the increase in the content of retinol acetate in the egg yolk by 30% (2.4 mg/ kg in the experimental group and 3.2 mg/kg in the control group). Statistics were performed by Student's t-test. Analysis of the reproductive indicators of laying hens in broiler parent herds showed that egg production in the experimental (n = 7698) and control (7712) groups was 64.2–61.0% during the test period. The number of hatching eggs per initial hen in the control and experimental groups was within 162,4,0–161,9 pieces for the study period. The preservation of laying hens in both groups was at the level of 96%. The use of montmorillonite affected the results of incubation. The indicators of fertilization of hatching eggs in the control and experimental groups were 96.3% and 96.2%, respectively. During the test period in the experimental group, the percentage of hatching chickens ranged from 74.6% to 79.1%, versus 69.3% to 76.8% in the control group. Thus, more healthily conditioned broiler chickens were obtained in the experimental group. The influence of montmorillonite on the reproductive indicators of laying hens in broiler parent herds is related to the increase in the quality indicators of hatching eggs.
