Simultaneous second derivative spectrophotometric determination of copper(n) and nickel(II) using 1-phenyl-1,2-propanedione-2-oxime thiosemicarbazone

Second derivative methods have been developed for the determination of Cull and NiII using PPDOT when they are present alone. Simultaneous determination of Cull and NiII in synthetic mixtures was carried out by measuring the amplitude at 482.5 and 441 nm respectively without the need for employing simultaneous equation.
