The calculations are made on statistical mechanical basis considering the cooperative effect and formation of cluster by H-bonding or dipole alignment. The results are compared with the experimental values. To calculate this for binary mixtures of some important mixed solvents we have to consider the partial molar volumes, which arc calculated from a relation considering the hard sphere diameters and number density of the corresponding solvents. The results are compared with the experimental values and this agreement is found good.
