- The purpose of this deliverable is to specify the methodology required to monitor the KPIs as defined in D4.2. The objectives of this methodology are to be valid and reliable in terms of how data is captured and measured, while being suitable for the constraints of demonstration sites and in a later phase the dissemination locations. After this introductory section and the next one proposing abbreviation and acronyms, the document is organised as follows: Chapter 2 presents background information and the overall roadmap of WP5 activities, of which this deliverable consitututes the second phase. Chapter 3 defines the main objectives of this deliverable and describes the KPI measurement approach to be applied to the demos performed in WP4. Chapter 4 defines the steps to obtain a measurement approach which is able to reflect the technical constraints on the R2R ecosystem which might impact KPI monitoring. Chapter 5 presents the results after the application of the steps defined in the previous section. Finally, chapter 6 presents the conclusions of the process, Specifically, The overall conclusion of the approach has been to use an online survey that will collect key data about the use of the Ride2Rail service, and basic demographic information. This will also serve as a platform for the usability approach (see D5.2). In addition, supporting data will be collected from the Ride2Rail ecosystem. This will give additional validation of the data generated by the survey, as well as information about the number of users. All data is anonymised in compliance with GDPR. The deliverable also highlights a small number of open questions that must be resolved for successful monitoring.
