All the polymers were dark colored granular powder and soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide. All polymers exhibited moderate intrinsic viscosity [η] ranging from 0.475-0.51 dl/g at 32 ± 0.2 °C in DMSO. The approximate number-average molecular weight (Mn) ranges between 4.2 x 103 to 4.7 x 107 g mol-1 by taking upper and lower values of α and K in Mark-Houwink-Sakurada equation. The thermal transition temperature, Tg, in the range 74.9-143.3 °C of polymers was determined from DSC thermograms. The TGA thermograms of polymers had shown good thermal stability of these polymers till 300 °C.
