  • During COVID19 pandemic situation online process has ployed the whole education system. It has become a stratagem in entire education field for almost two years. School going is a challenge to us. In India neo-normal kind of education system has been making itself as the best endeavor to cope up with this changed situation. It seems that online education system is a panacea to the world education, especially in any crisis. E-learning has many positive aspects. But we should remember it has so many negative facets also. In India school is not for the education it is also the way of survival of a child. Till now in a large part of India education is a luxury. Mid-day-meal is one of the vital schemes to bring children to school and prevent drop out, early marriage of girl child. COVID-19 situation is a big push to this situation. E-learning creates digital divide, it increases school dropout, child labor, early marriage of girl child, human trafficking, cyber crime in a threatening percentage. Online education within four walls creates psychological problems among students. Our paper deals with how online education effecting the holistic development of a child. Regarding this issue eleven dimensions were selected for the study. Opinions of students, teachers and parents are analyzed regarding this issue. Here we also try to find out the most effective dimensions, affecting the education system according to the opinion of students, teachers and parents. According to their opinion we also try to find out the solutions against the negative effects of online education.
