Turkey: Sivas, Tokat, Erzincan, Erzurum, Bayburt, Gümüşhane, Trabzon, Rize provinces (Fig. 844). Remarks. Demirsoy (1973: 426; 1977: 83) included the female allotype of N. sureyana Ramme in N. acinosus Mistshenko, but it certainly belongs to this species. Correspondingly the specimens given as N. acinosus from Sivas and Erzincan by Demirsoy (1973) probably belong to this species. The records of Paranocaracris citripes citripes (Uvarov) from Rize Province and Paranocaracris citripes sabulosa Ramme from Kopdağı given by Mol et al. (2014) are not likely which probably refer to this species. Although the male holotype has yellow tibia the males of this species have mainly red, orange-red hind tibia (see the key). Three males collected from Anzer Yaylası, Rize have yellow tibia as in the holotype.
