Studies on complexes of copper and nickel with a Schiff base derived from salicylaldehyde and isonicotinoyl hydrazide

The complexes are characterized on the basis of their physicochemical properties. The Schiff base and its metal complexes were screened for their antifungal and antibacterial activities. The copper(ll) complex exhibited higher inhibition against microorganisms than the nickek(II) complex.
