- Resumen El manejo del ingreso hospitalario de pacientes COVID-19 se considera un proceso estratégico que incluye los procedimientos para la atención a los pacientes positivos. El objetivo de esta investigación es perfeccionar el proceso de ingreso hospitalario para los pacientes con COVID-19 en el territorio matancero. Entre los métodos utilizados están: análisis y síntesis de la documentación, tormenta de ideas, trabajo con expertos, diagrama As-Is y ficha de proceso, apoyados en herramientas informáticas como Microsoft Excel y Visio. Entre los resultados se encuentra el diagnóstico de la provincia de Matanzas en el enfrentamiento a la COVID-19 con un análisis de la incidencia por municipios, los principales problemas y la determinación del cálculo del nivel de autogestión de ingreso. Además, se establecen las fases del flujo del paciente, el proceso de ingreso y la ficha del proceso, lo que contribuye a la calidad en la Atención Primaria de Salud. Abstract The management of hospital admission of COVID-19 patients is considered a strategic process that includes procedures for the care of positive patients. The objective of this research is to improve the hospital admission process for patients with COVID-19 in the Matanzas territory. Among the methods used are: analysis and synthesis of documentation, brainstorming, work with experts, As-Is diagram and process sheet, supported by computer tools such as Microsoft Excel and Visio. Among the results is the diagnosis of the province of Matanzas in the confrontation with COVID-19 with an analysis of the incidence by municipalities, the main problems and the determination of the calculation of the level of income self-management. In addition, the phases of the patient flow, the admission process and the process file are established, which contributes to the quality of Primary Health Care.
