- The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the influence of professional identity, personal cost, and the seriousness of violations of the intention to whistleblowing. This research is a quantitative study that distributes questionnaires. The population in this study is employees/workers who have worked professionally or are called blue-collar workers. The sampling technique uses a random sampling method with criteria for employees who work as accountants. The results of this study concluded that there is a positive influence between professional identity on the intention to do whistleblowing, whereas the personal cost and seriousness of the violations do not have a positive influence on the intention to do whistleblowing
