Tunic forms longitudinal ridges along the siphons; siphons are lobed with indented margins; body musculature on the right side is formed by short fibers perpendicular to the margin of the body; dorsal tubercle is meandering; rectum as a sac-like pouch; anus is multilobed; and the ovary is ramified. Remarks. The characteristics observed in the present specimens are similar to specimens from the Atlantic coast of Panama (Bonnet & Rocha 2011).
