Serrano leg., ASC; Kakande (coord.: 12 o 42 ́50.73 ́ ́ S, 16 o 45 ́33.19 ́ ́ E, 1716 m alt., 233) (BIÉ), 4.XI.2014, 2♂, DO, A. Serrano leg., ASC. Remarks. A species known from Angola, D. R. of the Congo and Tanzania (Werner 2000 b). The adults were found beneath the herbaceous vegetation in the edges of countryside roads within savanah (Cachingues-Chipica) or open secondary forest (Kakande). Further adults of other tiger beetle species are syntopic in the same habitats (see P. angusticollis ecological remarks for both localities).
