- Chalarus obscurus (Zetterstedt, 1838) Pipunculus obscurus Zetterstedt, 1838: 580. Annotations: Collin (1956) designated specimen no. 346 of Zetterstedt’s collection as the lectotype of C. obscurus, which was later studied by Jervis (1992). According to the latter author, the male lectotype is badly damaged and unidentifiable to species level.
