- Dataset and script associated to the journal article "Long-term high densities of African elephants clear the understorey and promote a new stable savanna woodland community". The dataset encompass the assessment of all woody plants in 12 vegetation plots of the Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. For each plant, species and morphological characteristic (height, crown diameter, DBH) were recorded, as well as impact of elephants. The dataset also incorporates data gathered from the TRY database and processed to be used in this work. Finally, the script associated with the analysis of the paper is also enclosed.
