Euro-Siberian (not in South of France, south of Italy and Spain), Burma, India. Comments. A predator which lives on numerous trees and feeds upon caterpillars and soft-bodied larvae of several insects. The eggs of T. luridus are destroyed by Microphanurus semistriatus (Nees) (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea) (Péricart 2010).
