PARATYPES: 2 ♀♀, Nakadore, Matsuyama, ex Syntomoza magna, 4.vii.1951, T. Yano lgt.; 6 ♀♀, Matsuyama, ex S. magna, 28.vi.1954, T. Psyllaephagus syntomozae does not fit the first couplet in TRJAPITZIN’ s (1989) key to Palaearcic species because the legs are almost completely yellow, with only the hind coxa completely dark brown. The holotype is housed in Ehime University, but we were not able to examine it.
