CURRENT STATUS: Nomen dubium [teste this work]. FAMILY: SARCOPHAGIDAE. REMARKS: Although originally placed in the current concept of the family Tachinidae, Herting (1974: 41) stated that the description of Oresbia places it in the Miltogramminae of the Sarcophagidae. Until a type specimen of the type species is found, Oresbia is best regarded as a nomen dubium in Miltogramminae.
