Comm.: The occurence of Rhagoletis pomonella in Colombia is based on the report of Garcés & Gallego (1947) who mention this fly in apples. However, the identification was not confirmed and this species has not been reported from Colombia subsequently, thus its occurance in the country is doubtful.]
