Kenya, 3 females, Lamu Island, July 19, 2005; 7 females, Wasini Island, July 24, 2005; 1 female, Mukaka forest, Mombasa, July 26, 2005; 2 females, Moana-Diani Beach, Mombasa, Coast Province, July 26, 2005 (El-Banhawy). Female: Dorsal shield smooth, 335 long, 196 wide. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 46, j3 50, j4, j5, j6, J2, J5 4–6, z2, z4, z5 4–6, Z1 8, Z4 90, Z5 304, s4 102, S2, S4, S5 7, r3, R1 10, JV5 60. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield smooth, distances between St I-St III 55 and St II-St II 70, St IV on platelets. Genital shield 74 wide. Ventri-anal shield 115 long, 55 wide at level of ZV2, 70 wide at level of anus, with a pair of elliptical pre-anal pores mesad to JV2, and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with 1two teeth, movable digit with three teeth. Spermatheca calyx 12 long, flared distally, atrium enlarged, 4 long. Macrosetae, Sge II 36, Sge III 48, Sti III 36, Sge IV 145, Sti IV 106, St IV 65. Chaetotaxy: genu II 2, 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1, 2 /1, 2/0, 1. Male: Chaetotaxy of dorsal shield as in female. Ventri-anal shield reticulated 122 long, 160 wide, with a pair of small pre-anal pores and three pairs of pre-anal setae. Spermatodactyl L-shaped, foot 5 long, toe 3, shaft 14. Remarks. The female holotype was collected from Kilifi, Kenya, November 30, 1989, J. S. Yaninek (Zannou et al., 2007). The male paratype was collected from Malindi, Coast Province, Kenya, July 18, 2005 (El-Banhawy). The present specimens showed that the ventri-anal shield is not constricted as in the holotype specimen, other diagnostic characters are identical.
