Distribution. High plateau and mountains that form the western border of the Rift Valley (eastern branch), central Kenya; elevational range ca. 2450–2750 m. Specimens examined. KENYA: Uasin Gishu Plateau, 32 km N Eldama Ravine, 9,000 ft (2743 m) (USNM 164290); Molo (FMNH 16693–16695, 16698, 16699).
