Dehghani, 2 Oct. 2016. Distribution. Indo-West Pacific: from Madagascar, Red Sea, PG, GO and India to the Philippines. Regional records. PG and GO: Iran (present study). Habitat. Typically found on Acropora sp. branches. Remark. This species is syntopic with A. malleodigitus and shows marked differences on scaphocerite and dactylus of the major chela. This species needs a re-investigation using molecular analysis and a more thorough comparison of external morphology and color patterns between the two species.
