  • This report stems from the end result of a course in the pilot year of the Leadership in Open Education Master’s program of the University of Nova Gorica. The course, a Team Project is conducted by Prof. Dr. Tel Amiel; professor at the School of Education at the University of Brasilia where he coordinates the UNESCO Chair in Distance Education and Larry Cooperman, the former president of the Open Education Consortium and former Associate Dean for Open Education at the University of California, Irvine. The purpose of the project is to take a panoramic view of the OER landscape in Nigeria and also to contribute to the OER World Map, an online catalogue of OER initiatives across the globe, followed by a series of interview with key personnel in the OE sphere anchored alongside my colleague Ana Fabjan from Slovenia.
