- Myoxocephalus quadricornis lonnbergi Berg, 1916 (Fig. 13) Holotype: ZIN 20691, Lake Ladoga, 45 km north of Konevets Island, July 26, 1905, collected by A.S. Skorikov. Current status: synonym of Myoxocephalus quadricornis (Linnaeus, 1758) (Kottelat, 1997). Counts: D1 8, D2 14, A 15, P 15, C 29, vert. 40 (abdominal 13, caudal 27), pleural ribs absent. Diagnosis: bumps on the upper side of head are poorly developed, posterior bumps are larger than the front ones. Row of bony plates is located closer to dorsal side of body; from occiput to end of first dorsal fin, plates are arranged in one row, then 2 rows which reach vertical in middle of caudal peduncle. Proportional measurements as percentages of standard length (108.7 mm): predorsal length 38.1, preanal length 57.1, maximum body depth 17.4, length of caudal peduncle 14.9, depth of caudal peduncle 5.0, length of first dorsal-fin base 19.4, length of second dorsal-fin base 27.2, length of anal-fin base 23.6, length of longest first dorsal-fin ray 14.3, length of longest second dorsal-fin ray 25.7, length of longest anal-fin ray 13.2, pectoral-fin length 31.5, pelvic-fin length 18.8, distance between first and second dorsal fins 5.4, head length 35.9, postorbital length 18.7, head depth 17.0, head width 36.6, eye horizontal diameter 7.4, snout length 11.9, interorbital width 5.1, upper jaw length 17.1, length of gill slit 21.0.
