- In the current research, the frame of an automated system is presented, to support decision making in an organization. This system can be considered as a decision support system which consists of an artificial neural network. The scope of the proposed system is to predict future consumer behavior, based on an artificialneural network,using as inputs different kinds ofmarket data. One of the key features in this methodology is that the proposed algorithm includesGoogle Trends data. These trends arebased on the search interest in a search engine machine.The algorithm that we are going to develop is based on the backpropagation model, which is widely used in the research field of neural networks. The advantage of the proposed method is that the firms could adjust their marketing plans, based on the trends of consumers’ search activity.
