- 7. Rhyparobia maderae (Fabricius) Blatta maderae Fabricius 1781: 341–342; circumtropical, probably of African origin. Comments. This species is reported from Loango (now Lovango) Island near St. Thomas of USVI (Shelford 1910), Puerto Rico (Wolcott 1948), West Indies, Central and South Americas (Princis 1964). It is large and usually associated with animal husbandry. We have not yet found it in the Virgin Islands.
