  • Lasiochilus (Semiotoscelis) curvicrus Reuter, 1884 Restored generic position. Lasiochilus (Semiotoscelis) curvicrus Reuter, 1884: 579. Calliodis curvicrus: Carpintero, 2002: 34. Diagnostic characters: Extracted from the original description: “Piceous shining... base of cuneus darker... femora blackish with apex testaceous as tibiae and tarsi... Differs from L. denigratus (B.-White) (here transferred to Dilasia)... by foretibiae (♂) less dilatated... scutellar margin of clavus and its suture with a row of dense and well marked punctures; clavus toward claval suture, with a row of irregular punctures. Corion with three irregular series of punctures. Membranal suture near the middle of cuneus with a row of punctures. Inner angle of cuneus punctured... “ Distribution: Brazil. (Fig. 200). Discussion: Author has not seen specimens of this species. Based on the original description, however there are no distinguishing characters that would justify regarding this species as belonging to a different genus. This species can be placed in the nominotypical tribal genus because of the deep punctures on hemelytra, labial length and shape of apex of foretibiae in males. In addition, the characteristic general coloration, quite different from the other known species, supports the specific validity of L. curvicrus.
