More details in Schütt (1960: 148, fig. 2). Distribution and ecology. Serbian endemic species. The snail inhabits subterranean and spring habitats. Type locality is Rugovska klisura Canyon (Peć Municipality, KiM). Other remarks. On the IUCN Red List it has been assessed as DD (Seddon 2011 i).
